  yeah all our shiners are only around 3-4 inches here in Illinois in the local bait shops but some have golden roaches which usually run a couple inches bigger but ...more sounds like nothing like the ones you have, Iwould love to try some of them bigger ones on the pike here ice fishing.

  Thanks Rich. Florida wild shiner are different than what people up north call shiners. Ours are 6-12 inches. Similar to northern large suckers. I'll post a picture, ...more the next time I go out .
