You won't believe it, but we caught 25 bass today in 1 to 2 ft of water. Rayburn is 2 ft below pool. It's been up as high a 6' and has been high for the last couple of years. A lot of the grass has died so it's slick bottoms. Now fish are holding to structure ( stumps lay downs ect.. ) now here in Tx. The water is cooling bait is moving up coves and the back of creeks with no grass to hide in. That leave them wide open pray. We found them in the shady areas and best around and under buck brush. I'm posting a couple of small ones, but I wish I had a picture of the one that got away.. LOL
