the bass wasn't that impressive so I thought I'd show off the bald eagle I saw instead. kayak fishermen have all the luck!

      it's pretty incredible to see them and they will let you get real close. The Heron are way more skittish. The Eagles will all sit right in the tree while you ...more pull up underneath them. You gotta watch the lake though. We always see them fly out, grab a snack and then follow them back to wherever they land.

      Thanks James, my wife is a big "bird nerd".maybe I can convince her to go to the lake with me more often.

      All the way at the southern end by the salt river. Saw one again today. Right around the van buren or channing boat ramps. See them there more often then I don't.
