      That surface temp in the 90s is the norm as we all know but I like top water ,spinners or shallow cranks during this time..Worms,flukes and such are my last resort ...more but I do know they catch fish..Keep chunking, I enjoy the fish pictures and what's being caught around East Texas...

      They move down into deeper water where it's cool. The surface temp was 97 degrees that day.

      Nice chunky fish though. I fish Cherokee a lot and it's been slow here since getting hot

      Thanks it was caught at Johnson Creek Reservoir at Wilkes Booth Power plant north of Lake O' the Pines. I did not weight or measure it though. It was the biggest ...more catch of the weekend.
