      Yes, check it like Capt. Kenneth Walker said. Before I started using big as I used a digital and did the same thing.

      Linda, Make sure it's not weighing in Kg. I made that mistake when I got mine. Easy enough to change, using the directions. That fish looks larger than that ...more scale says. If it did weigh it in Kg, multiply it by 2.2 and u have lbs. and reset the scale for lbs for the next fish. After you set it to lbs, it stays that way until the battery dies or is removed. Tight lines

      Hi Kenny! I got the Rapala 50lb. Digital. But I just realized that the weight I put down might be the tare. I think I better read the instructions. LOL
