  depends on what type of gear you are using and the temperature and other weather, but i think I am starting to get the hang of it. Going in the evening on the warmer ...more days seems to work best. Use a bobber or strike indicator with about four feet of line below it using fly fishing nymphs or the little bright yellow (chartreuse) plastic worms or corn- and use small hooks, give it a little twitching action periodically (10-15 seconds). if you don't want to use a bober and wanted to go with spinners and spoons, go for the smallest fire fox bullet spinners or kastmaster spoons. and use lighter line than you usually use if you are used to bass fishing. good luck

  nice fish i have tried everything to catch a trout here just cant get one lucky you nice fish
