Caught this smally on a found crankbait. Fished the point leading into a cove. The Smallmouth tend to hang out in the middle deep. Got the catch on video. Check it out.

joe Koster 0I went out Saturday and caught two, a small Kentucky and decent sized largemouth. my friend also caught a 16.50 Smallmouth. I was using a spotremover flat bottom ...more jig head with blue/green craw. when I can't catch them on anything else, this usually works. It has to be hard fishing the banks with the water this high though. Good luck to you and tight lines.
