  I can't get to close to the creek from the lake. tried few times. can't find a channel deep enough 4 my boat.

  I have had a lot of luck kayaking in the creek before it turns muddy and down on into New Alexandria. Caught right around 100 large mouth and a few smallies over ...more several trips, only caught a few in the Lake so far, but it's great for the fishing kayaks.
