The captain put a whole herring on my rig. I cut the body of the fish off since I wasn't getting anything on it and added a herring. Caught this 175 lb., 69" long halibut within fifteen minutes after the bait change. It took 45 minutes to land the fish. I am on the left giving the thumbs up.
