I was flipping a Green Pumpkin jig to shallow stumps in a weed filled back bay.Went to reel in and the line was slack and the fish was swimming towards me. Reeled up the slack and set the hook really hard, after a bout a 30 second fight and one jump i swung her into the boat for a quick pic before the release.

Ben Daniels 0I'd rather have it swim away from me so I knew it was a fish and not a break off! Just assumed it was a fish when I was reeling in the slack, just like hockey ...more you miss 100% of the shots you don't take!
