About Silver Seatrout

Pale straw colored above, silvery sides, and white below. No distinctive pigmentation, although faint diagonal lines may be present on upper body. 8 to 9 rays in the anal fin. Their eyes are large eyes and snout is short. One or two prominent canine teeth usually present at tip of upper jaw. The lower half of tail fin is longer than upper half. No yellow coloration on the back and fins like the sand seatrout has. It has very small, darker spots arranged in rearward sloping rows on the upper sides.
