About Shorthead Redhorse

The shorthead redhorse, has a red tail fin and red edging on the dorsal fin. This member of the sucker family also has sides golden or silvery, back is olive to brown with golden reflections, underside is white to yellow. Shorthead redhorse have a small head and a relatively long slender body. They have a concave dorsal fin and a bright red tail.
